Hike or walk several trails at Cape Henlopen State Park or just walk along the long beach. Walk to the
point (where the bay meets the ocean) & view the 2 lighthouses -  Breakwater & Refuge Borrow
bicycles from the Seaside Nature Center on a first come, first serve basis, and then ride a trail. Climb
the World War II Observation Towers for a spectacular view.

Take a ferry boat ride on the
Cape May -Lewes Ferry and explore Cape May, NJ.

The Villages of Five Points is located approximately
2.5 miles from either beach area.
 

Lewes Public Beach
Located on the Delaware Bay.  Parking Meters will be in effect from May 1 through
October 15 from the hours of 9am to 6pm

Cape Henlopen State Park
On the water where the Delaware Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean.  This 3000 acre park near Lewes
has the famous 'walking' sand dunes, nature trails with guides, a nature center, camping, bathhouses,
recreation areas and areas for surf fishing and swimming.  

The state park, located in Lewes, is home of the great walking dune and WWII lookout towers.  The
park's hiking and biking trails provide visitors with a picturesque setting for outdoor activities.

Nassau Valley Vineyards
The states only winery features well manicured hills where grapes are grown before being made into
various wines.  Visitors will enjoy a tour of the history of wine-making, as well as wine tasting. For

Dogfish Head Brewery
The brewery is open for self-guided tours.  Visitors can see items such as the fermenting tank, ice
building and mash turn.  At peak production, Dogfish can bottle 50 bottles per minute. Dogfish's
award-winning Shelter Pale Ale is made from Delaware grown barley.
